“Undressed”
關於美與消費的討論已經持續很久。一方面，越來越多的女性意識到，外在美是資本主義強加在女性身上的枷鎖，但同時，她們又無法抗拒想要變美的渴望。我也是其中一位深感這種強烈內心矛盾的女性，因此這個項目是我對「美」的真正意義的回答。
我於2020年開始這個項目，邀請街頭不同年齡、種族和體型的陌生人擔任模特兒。我為每個人搭配真正反映其獨特能量與精神的服裝。透過這樣的方式，我試圖捕捉一種與財富、外貌或年齡無關的內在人性之美。
It has been a long-time debate about beauty and consumption. On one hand, more and more women realize that physical beauty is a chain placed on women by capitalism and yet, they can’t resist wanting to be pretty. I am one of these women who have felt this intense inner conflict so this project is an answer to what beauty truly is.
I began this project in 2020 by inviting strangers of different ages, races and body types on the street to model for my shootings. I styled each person in clothes that truly reflected their unique energy and spirit. By doing this, I am trying to capture an inherent human beauty-something that has nothing to do with wealth, appearance or age.
高楚盈 Chuying GAO
高楚盈是一位藝術與時尚攝影師兼選角導演，目前常駐中國。她於2020年在羅徹斯特理工學院（RIT）的視覺藝術學院獲得攝影碩士學位。出生並成長於中國，她目前致力於拍攝獨特的時尚照片，帶來西方媒體鮮少觸及的觀察角度。
Chuying GAO is an art and fashion photographer and casting director currently based in China. She gained her master’s degree in photography at the School of Visual Art at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in 2020. Born and raised in China, she focuses on creating unique fashion photographs which encourages observations that otherwise may not have been perceived by the western media.
《SHOWCASE 計劃》
SHOWCASE 是一個由澳門年輕創作者發起的活動計劃，旨在推動澳門當代視覺藝術文化風氣並給予年輕創作者平台展示作品。SHOWCASE 原則上以季度為單位進行活動，並以特約形式邀請來自不同地方的視覺藝術創作者，以微型個展的形式進駐澳門各個非傳統藝術展場，讓創作能夠更貼地走入生活。我們同時亦期許能透過創作者與觀眾的分享與討論，使當代視覺藝術文化植根澳門，製造一片能探索各種藝術可能性的土壤。
