我們執著的是什麼，了解，又有多深？

這系列的照片是羅雪寶進入跨性別群體學習了三年的過程。羅氏覺知的，是以年月、用心去理解的關愛。

展覽名稱來自張國榮的歌《我》。

What am I?

What should human love look like?

What is it that we hold onto, and how deeply do we truly understand?

This photo series documents Kathleen Lo’s three-year journey of immersing herself in and learning alongside the transgender community. What Lo came to perceive is a form of care and empathy built across years of deep, heartfelt understanding.

The exhibition takes its title from Leslie Cheung’s iconic song, “I am what I am”.

個人簡介

羅雪寶是一位紮根於香港、自學成才的攝影師及跨領域藝術家，透過攝影、詩歌、寫作、實驗聲音及錄像，探索邊緣社群、記憶與感知等主題。自 2020 年起，她逐步發展出以研究為本的創作實踐，將視覺觀察與富有詩意及感官性的敘事方式結合。

她歷時三年創作的計劃《人類未覺知的愛情》獲選以個人展覽形式展出，並獲香港藝術發展局支持；同時亦獲 Resolve Foundation 資助，出版成攝影集。系列作品亦入圍「Cross All Borders 2024：香港新晉殘疾視覺藝術家作品展」競賽，並躋身 2024 年吉隆坡國際攝影獎決選。

Kathleen Lo is a Hong Kong-based self-taught photographer and multidisciplinary artist whose pracitce explores marginalised communities, memory, and perception through photography, poetry, writing, experimental sound, and video. Since 2020, she has developed a research-driven practice that combines visual observation with lyrical and sensory forms of storytelling.

Her three-year project, “the years I spent looking at you”, was selected for solo exhibition supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and published as a photobook funded by Resolve Foundation. The works were also shortlisted for Cross All Borders 2024: Hong Kong Competition Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities and selected as a finalist for the Kuala Lumpur International Photo Awards 2024.
